Also, a HUGE thank you to the Hardick Family! Corey brought his crew from CH Court Tech and they provided a major boost to our field prep efforts. Along with AG alum Mike Hensley, much needed work was accomplished. Over the years, Corey has been an amazing AGLL volunteer who has helped with and provided resources for many projects and clean-up efforts.

Along with Urban Corp this week, the property and fields are in much better shape. Unfortunately, with more rain, it will be challenging to keep everything in shape so any help in the future is appreciated.

Pete Famolaro and crew will be busy this weekend continuing the renovation of the intermediate snack bar. If you are around this weekend and need some fresh air after all of the rain, come down to the snack bar. Many thanks to Pete, Doug Mellinger, Carol Carlson, Nikki Meek, Kristine Goffar, Mari Hardick and Jeff Godinho for all of their efforts in a much needed update to our snack bar.

SDFD to the Rescue

Our rope for the intermediate flag pole broke during the week. AGLL parent,  Kieran Moloney (father of Nathan), who is a fireman, made a call to our local fire station and within the hour they arrived to attach a new rope. Thanks to Kieran and the SDFD for their community service!!!

I found a locksmith to come out and change the lock so it is all taken care of, when he was finished I was trying to get a hold of Melisa to pay the gentleman when a certain Grandparent who was standing by the backstop and watched the work being done, he came over to us while I was on the phone and offered to pay for the new lock, he said I want to contribute to the league and did not want any compensation or a receipt or anything. I offered to pay him back by the league but he said that's ok don't worry about it congratulations. By the way his name is Stephen Fisher and his grandson played on Tiffany's t-ball team

Bubba Ball Home and Away Benches
